This contributes to achieving the organization’s strategic objectives and strengthening its media presence locally and internationally.

Second: Strategic Objectives

Through this policy, the organization seeks to:

  • Expand its readership and follower base across various media platforms.
  • Deliver news and reports to the widest possible audience.
  • Enhance awareness of the organization’s media platforms and reinforce their position as a trusted source of news.
  • Increase levels of engagement and interaction with published content.

Third: Target Audience Scope

  • Media content is provided to the general public without specific demographic or categorical limitations.
  • Content direction is determined by the nature of the published material and readers’ interests.
  • The diversity of the organization’s general and specialized platforms enables the attraction of various audience segments with different ages, interests, and orientations.
  • Content is directed toward individuals interested in specific news or sectors based on reading behavior and engagement patterns.

Fourth: Approved Content Types

The organization approves the publication of the following types of content:

  • News, reports, and articles in all formats.
  • Repurposed or promotional editorial content distributed through social media platforms.
  • Visual content (video) published via the organization’s YouTube channel and affiliated digital platforms.
  • Content published across the organization’s network of websites, totaling thirty-two (32) websites.

The following content is excluded from publication:

  • Any content of a political or religious nature.
  • Any material that conflicts with the state’s public policy or prevailing social and cultural values.

Fifth: Content Themes and Editorial Focus

The editorial policy focuses on covering:

  • Local and international conferences, exhibitions, and events within and outside the United Arab Emirates.
  • Economic, commercial, and tourism-related events.
  • Activities related to hotels, airlines, and various business sectors.
  • Government conferences and official activities.
  • Public and private events of a service-oriented or developmental nature.

All topics must comply with applicable laws and regulations and must not undermine national or social principles.

Sixth: Publishing and Distribution Channels

  • Content is published through the organization’s specialized or general websites according to the nature of the news.
  • Content is distributed via available social media platforms in accordance with agreements made with clients or concerned entities.
  • At a minimum, all news is published on the organization’s digital platforms, with the possibility of limiting publication frequency unless otherwise agreed.

Seventh: Editorial Responsibilities

  • Submitting entities (such as public relations offices) bear full responsibility for the accuracy and content of the news they provide.
  • The organization bears full editorial responsibility for news and reports prepared by its internal team, including accuracy, wording, and professional compliance.
  • The organization reserves the right to edit, withhold, or decline publication in accordance with this editorial policy.

Eighth: Content Preparation and Publishing Timeline

  • Content is prepared according to event schedules approved by the organizing entities.
  • Prior coordination with the event organizer is required when preparing coverage.
  • Content is published within a maximum of twenty-four (24) hours of receiving the finalized press material.
  • Submitted material must be in an approved editorial format and include at least one accompanying image.
  • When content is prepared by the organization’s editorial team, the organization is responsible for providing images and supporting materials.

Ninth: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Standards

  • The organization is committed to applying best professional practices to enhance content visibility on search engines.
  • Appropriate keywords are selected using specialized analytical tools and techniques.
  • Technical and editorial standards are observed to ensure effective reach to the target audience.

Tenth: Archiving and Content Management Policy

  • Approved content is published for a period of two (2) years, in addition to the year of publication.
  • Upon expiration of the specified period, content is removed in accordance with the approved content update policy.
  • This policy aims to ensure content freshness and continuous platform updates, avoiding the retention of outdated or non-updatable news.

Eleventh: Review and Evaluation

  • This policy is subject to periodic review in line with operational requirements and organizational changes.
  • Content performance is evaluated based on key performance indicators such as readership, engagement, and reach.
  • Necessary improvements are implemented to ensure the achievement of the organization’s strategic objectives.
